From 1999–2020, more than 564,000 people died from an overdose involving any opioid, including prescription and illicit opioids. The drug overdose epidemic continues to worsen in the United States. [The CDC]
SFFMG's Dr. Michael Greene serving on SFFMG's 'Opioid Crisis Task Force' has developed two major platforms in stopping/lessening Opioid related deaths in our South Florida children and sex trade workers:
A. WIth our Crime Lab's Criminal Investigators/Confidential Informant Programs, and as of late,
B. Through the Certification and/or Registration of South Florida Residents in Narcan dispensing.

Two major issues we combat in sex trafficking victimization / against sexual predators are:
1. Working with hotel staff/at hotels (undercover) and, effectually, working with local law enforcement to expose/combat human traffickers.
2. Mediation Services - Trafficked people may not be acknowledged as victims of crime but instead treated as violators of immigration, labor, or prostitution laws and held in detention.
And this is largely why these sex trafficking victims need your help in having a Mediator -- in having the investigators and affiliate attorneys of SFFMG -- by / on their side related to their human trafficking victim cooperation with law enforcement in/for bringing sex traffickers and sex enslavers to justice.
